Blame!'s main antagonists, the Silicon Life creatures, are neither shown nor mentioned. Killy and Cibo refer to the start of the City's actual predicament as the "Contagion". In the manga, the event (detailed in the spin-off "NoISe") is given no precise name.

There's also a oneshot only sold in Japan with the collector's edition of the movie called "BLAME! Fort of Silicon Creatures". Besides what we mentioned, Nihei hasn't really made any more works about Blame!, I guess he's too focused on his other stuff like APOSIMZ, which hasn't yet released it's last volume in English yet..
